The Merced County Arts Council (MCAC) is partnering with Merced World Dancers to bring the Bulgarian Ensemble “Bulgarika” to Merced, CA.

The music of Bulgaria is known for hauntingly expressive melodies, irregular rhythms, and fiery dance tempos.
Bulgarika features some of the country’s finest musicians: Gadulka virtuoso Nikolay Kolev – the founder of “Bulgarika,” internationally renowned singer Donka Koleva, acclaimed singer Maria Koleva and accordionist extraordinaire Ivan Milev together provide high–energy, musical acrobatics that will have you dancing on the dance floor or in your seat.
