The Merced SPCA maintains a no-kill shelter and its main focus is to provide our animals with spaying/neutering, vaccinations and a safe environment until they can be adopted to a loving home. We are a non-profit organization and our funding is provided entirely by fund raisers, membership dues and donations.

We welcome new members! Dues are Seniors $25, Individuals $30 and Family $40. Please call for a membership form or pick one up at the shelter. Our meetings are held at the First Baptist Church of Merced, 500 Buena Vista, corner of Buena Vista and “M” Street.

Meetings take place at 7:00 p.m. the first Monday of every month. If the first Monday falls on a holiday, then we meet the next Monday.

Before joining you are welcome to visit us at the shelter or come to a meeting as a guest if you like. We’d enjoy meeting you
