A Night Under the Northern Lights; A Frozen Inspired Gala

Weaver Performing Arts Boosters hosts a yearly Annual Gala to raise funds for the Weaver Performing Arts Program at Weaver USD. WPA will be producing Frozen JR. in the spring of 2026 at the Merced Theatre and there is a lot sets, costumes, props, etc. to purchase. We are also raising money this year to purchase new technical equipment to replace aging items that are over 20 years old.

We are excited to announce that we will host our third annual Weaver Performing Arts Boosters Gala, "A Night Under the Northern Lights; inspired by Frozen" which will take place on December 13, 2025 at the Merced County Fairgrounds Pavilion Building located at 900 Martin Luther King Jr Way in Merced CA. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Weaver USD is a Title 1 district that continues to offer enriching extracurricular and after school programs that help to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences for an extremely diverse student population. The Gala is the largest fundraising event hosted by supporters of the District and is quickly becoming the event of the season to attend. Money raised via Weaver Performing Arts Boosters fundraising efforts, go to purchase many necessary items required to successfully produce a musical.

Now, for the very first time, Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band are bringing the music of the hit Broadway show to venues across the country. Featuring an all-star ensemble, comprising the artists from the original cast on Broadway, this exclusive routing will hit the Merced Theatre on Friday, October 10.

Pescadero Arts & Fun Festival

It’s that time of year again, when Pescadero hosts a small country festival, showcasing a variety of handmade crafts and fine art. Featuring live entertainment, great food, and plenty of fun for all. Admission is Free. All proceeds to benefit local youth and programs.


P.A.F.F. showcases over 50 vendors, from crafts to food, while volunteer musicians provide all-day live entertainment, including Rock’n’Roll, bluegrass, and folk, and features our “ONLY in Pescadero” fan favorite, the South Coast Children’s Services comedy “Fashion Show”.


A celebration of local talent from Fine Arts to Kids’ art, an exhibit of the South Coast Artist Alliance takes place in the Grand Hall.
Paffy’s Kid Korral is a special area where kids will find games, ‘make it and take it’ crafts, the bounce house, and more! For a one-of-a-kind good time, just follow the Dancing Cow to Pescadero!

Founded in 1991 by a group of local artists seeking an outlet for the local community of talent, the Pescadero Arts and Fun Festival was born and has grown to become the event of the year for locals and longtime visitors.

Organized by an all-volunteer staff, the event raises funds for local youth and programs. This quaint gathering of artists and artisans takes place annually on the third full weekend in August, from 10 am - 6 pm at the Pescadero I.D.E.S. Grounds.
