Pathfinders are a worldwide organization of young people ages 10-15 (similar to boy scouts/girl scouts©), sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join.
Pathfinders work together, tying knots, hiking, camping, biking, drilling and marching, among many other fun and enjoyable things.
There is also the yearly bike-a-thon, in which pathfinders can earn money for their club and keep some for themselves (for club related activities), and the annual Pathfinder Fair, as well as occasional campouts.
In addition to the above, there are frequent opportunities to earn awards (honors) as they work together to prepare to live in this world and in the world to come.
